Single (or occasionally double) person boats with a single main sail and a removable daggerboard. Of all three boats used, this was the easiest to capsize (as many students and both teachers can attest to) but was also the fastest. Two sail sizes were used, a 4.7 and a full sized sail.
The bathtubs, these were boats meant for smaller to lighter people and came with a dagger board and single main sail. Being very hard to capsize made it excellent for our landlubbing crew and made a great spot for bubble blowing.
The largest of the sailboats, it could hold +6 people on board, measured 22 feet stern to bow, and had a main sail and a jib. With a weighted keel, capsize was impossible. Accompanied by a speaker, this was the party boat.
